The Department of ICT (Information Communications Technologies) Engineering converges information and communication technologies to provide ICT-fusion technical education. It leads fields in fourth industrial revolution, including biomedical studies, autonomous vehicles, internet of things, big data, fintech, artificial intelligence, and robotics.


Objectives

  • IT Systems
    This course covers various automation technologies based on computer structure and design which is the basis of computer engineering, as well as software system and network. Next-generation computing technology allows students to enter different specializations such as electronics, automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, and robotics.
  • Artificial Intelligence and Software
    Software convergence technology, which supports artificial intelligence, big data, IoT, autonomous driving, energy IT and so on, is the underlying technology that will bring about the next-generation revolution. The software major nurtures practical professionals capable of using software to achieve the creative integration of underlying technologies fundamental to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
  • Information Security
    With the rapid growth of globalization and informatization, modern society is intensifying competition for information and increasing cases of leakage of industrial secrets. Therefore, the importance of security capabilities to secure core technologies and information is increasing day by day not only at the corporate level but also at the national level. Information security majors help train security experts and develop their capabilities as future leaders in the global knowledge and information security industry.
